Just completed the 1st Shatin Cross Country + Road Race in the morning today.
I could only manage to complete the race in a pretty slow time of 57 mins+. Wearing the wrong road running shoes which were incapable to handle the slippery down hill slopes.
I sped up my paces when turning into the flat field path. However I lost my control once and punched directly into the field. Luckily the field was covered with long grass and without water, rocks and mud. I climbed up to the path and continued the run again.
Very difficult race to me.
Congratulation to LAI Kat who completed the race in an amazingly fast time of 38 mins+.
A nice race still.
